We will spend time with you, either personally or by phone, to get to know you. This will aid us in designing a site that reflects you personally, and the image you want to portray.
Communication between the designer and client is very important to ensure that the veiwer comes away with the impression you intend. We will spend as much time as required in communication to achieve this, as your site is the public's first and lasting impression of you.
HOW WE DO BUSINESS
Rates vary depending on the complexity of the site, but we do not charge for initial consultations, communications, corrections (our error) and validation of your site to verify standards compliance.
After your site is built, approved by you and uploaded to the server, any changes that require billing is always pre-approved. We will give you a quote for the work to be performed. If after work commences, you request changes/additions to that work, we will let you know the additional cost, if any, prior to making that change.
Your website will be coded in (X)HTML and CSS2 and conform to WC3 Standards. This means that as Web Standards change, your site will be in compliance, and will display in any modern browser commonly in use.
Sites that are not coded to WC3 Standards run the risk of "breaking" - displaying in a jumbled mess - when new Web Standards are implemented.
Raven'sHeart Design is always on top of the latest standards by continuing our own education through enrollment in the classes offered by The HTML Writers Guild.
In addition to designing, we offer domain name registration for as little as $9.95 for the first year and hosting packages starting at $6.95 per month.
